About Me

My name is Andrada Murzea, and I am a certified, experienced French teacher. I have a Masters Degree in French? Literature and a DALF C2 diploma. I began my career as an instructor of French language and Literature in Europe, and have taught in many international schools.

I then continued as a director in a European centre of foreign languages, where my team worked as translators and interpreters for the European Commission of Brussels. At the Centre, I was also responsible for developing and implementing linguistic pedagogy for both adults and children, including rolling out teacher training programs.

Upon moving to Calgary in 2012, I worked as a French instructor at the French Alliance of Calgary, teaching a variety of ages and classes, as well as summer intensives for teens and adults. I have more than 20 years experience as a French language tutor.

Personally, I am passionate about many diverse areas like child and personal development, psychology, the fine arts, sports, the sciences, culinary arts, photography, and travelling. I look forward to speaking with you soon.
